Lo que dice el Arxiduc:

“The new port’s railway is connected to the Algerian and Tunisian rail lines. There are two trains from Bizerte to Tunis every day, the trip lasting two and a half hours. There is also a port station for travellers and merchandise, with steam cranes which can lift up to 30 tonnes, permitting merchandise to be moved directly from the boats to the trains and vice versa. There are various warehouses for merchandise staying in Bizerte… The principles guiding port operations are speed and efficiency, trying to avoid useless operations.”

Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria, Bizerte, J. Rothschild, Paris, 1900 (Prague, 1897)

Datos proyecto Nixe III:

The construction of the new port during the Archduke’s days has without doubt represented a big step forward for the city. Today we can see that the port has been completely developed, stretching to Point Sebra. We can see cranes and warehouses, and there is a free port near Point Sebra.
