Levkas / Lefkáda :: Comparisson reports

We didn’t visit the western coast of Levkada. Consequently, we didn’t pass by Sessola Islet, though we did take a picture of it from the coast on our excursion overland along the western coast.

   

In terms of the northern coast, we only took a few pictures when sailing in from Paxos to Levkada Island.

   

When coming in to Levkada by sea, we also took an image of the island from near the area of Preveza.

   

Coming in from the north of Levkada Island, we can clearly see the long strip of sand which defines the entrance towards the area around the Santa Maura citadel.

   

After sailing around the entire castle, we come to the drawbridge which lets you access the strait taking you directly to the port of Levkada.
