The whole of Tunis Bay, including its capes, sandy water, beaches, lagoons, historic towns such as Carthage, the touristy Sidi Bou Said, and La Goulette, with its somewhat colonial flair, makes it an attractive place.
Around Tunis, both to the south and north, we find large expanses of land planted with olive trees, grapes and cereals.
Lastly, worth noting are mountain chains such as Hammam-Lif and Djebel Rsas which offer spectacular views of the bay.
