Lo que dice el Arxiduc:

Amongst all the South Slav tribes, spread out over vast areas, none stands out more for the diversity of clothing than the Serbs which live along the entire coastal region of the Adriatic Sea from southern Fiume (Rijeka) to the border with Albania. Almost every village and every mountain valley has its own traditional costume which varies greatly depending on the people’s social position and age.

While the majority of other people’s traditional clothing increasingly disappears, except, at most, on Sundays or for very special events, especially honeymoons, modern and homogenising culture has still not reached the mountainous and closed areas of southern Slavia. Here, traditional clothing is seen as an inherited asset, cared for with great respect and worn with scrupulous rigour.

Datos proyecto Nixe III:

During our stay in Croatia, we were unable to explore this topic. We simply saw that some traditional costumes were used during popular festivities.
