Lo que dice el Arxiduc:

Women’s clothing is much more diverse. Many are truly Slavic in nature. If we look at that worn in Pag (island), Budino or St. Euphemia, we are vividly reminded of clothing in Bohemia.

The women in Vertica and Zengg, with their white sleeveless shirts embroidered in red, similar to kaftans, remind us of Little Russia; the head covering worn by Sinian women are similar, in part, to the Russian kakoschnik, due somewhat to the cylindrical shapes typical worn by Russian nuns.

Common to almost all women here are the very rare and unique aprons, which are richly edged and are also worn typically by Romanians, making the whole outfit very attractive. All this clothing described is embellished with abundant decorative features, especially large earrings, copied from Antiquity and also mentioned by the Archduke upon his visit to the Gulf of Bakar.
