Crossing to Venice 3 Images of the marine research

Hi there!!
Right now we are at Brindisi harbour, just at the backside of the italian boot. We have problems with the engine and with a little luck tomorrow we will be able to follow with our journey. For further details, please Access our Binacle section.
During these last few days we have been explaining the different marine research initiatives that we are conducting during the crossings. Since an image is worth one thousand words, you will be able to watch several videos concerning the research.
In the first place, you will see how the manta trawl is outside the water.
Second how we tow the manta trawl at one side of the boat.
Also one of the samples that we have been able to take lately.
And finally the work of sorting out the different elements of the sample and registering them on notes and photography.
Our goodbye with one of the largest groups of common dolphins that we have watched so far.

Veig que el viatge va bé... allò del motor és un mal menor.
I els dofins... són comuns, veritat?, Delphinus delphis. Supose que com a gran et refereixes al grup, no al dofí, ja que aquestos són prou menudets.
Records a tothom de part d'Eva de Columbretes :-))

Qué bueno que te guste Rafa!
Si vieras con que ganas sacamos cada muestra del cubilete esperando a ver qué sale ...
En unos dias aparecera un mapa en el sitio web en el que se verán geoposicionadas todas las muestras (y los avistamientos de cetáceos). A partir de ese momento lo podremos subir todo en tiempo real!

Hola Juan,
ayer fui a un programa de TVMallorca sobre el Archiduque y me enteré que los Amigos del Archiduque parten el lunes a un viaje por la misma zona que la Nixe3. Vuelan a Venecia y desde alli bajan con un bus hacia Montenegro; vosotros por mar y ellos por tierra. Que gracia!!
